Consider having rubber taps added to your shoe tips or heels for added protection against wear.  Also consider a sole guard application for non-slip protection.  Remember, we have in stock an exact match for 100% rubber sole guards for Christian Louboutin red and Tiffany blue soles.

Be careful when using creams and conditioners as they can affect the sheen and color of your shoes.  If the insole is the same color as your shoe, try a little conditioner there first as a test.  Otherwise test at the heel of your shoe (left side of right shoe or right side of the left shoe) in order to be as inconspicuous as possible.

If you can ever see the heads of screws or nails in your heels or soles, have your shoes looked at right away by a professional.

If you have just one shoe that needs work, we would ask that you send us both shoes. It may be helpful to use the "good" shoe as a model for what needs to be done, or it's possible that we would need to make a change on both shoes (with your approval, of course) in order for you to have two shoes that match once we're done with the repair.

We recommend that you have your shoes waterproofed when you send them to us, which is another reason you should send both shoes. This gives your shoes better protection from rain and snow as well as providing a barrier for salt damage where salt is used to melt ice in the winter. Waterproofing is not impermeable. If you wear your shoes to protect your feet while wading in a pond, waterproofing will not help much. But it should repel rain and an errant sprinkler system. If you expect rain, you might consider carrying your shoes to work or to wherever you're headed while wearing something more appropriate for the trip.
